Default I want to build a 24-27" jet drive boat.....

I want to build a nice 24-27" jet drive. But I am kinda lost as where to start.
I clicked through the all things jet drive thread, but I ended up with more questions then I started, lol.

A list of what I needed to buy would be too perfect. lol
Something that can turn pretty sharp would be nice too. As one of the places I will run it isnt all that wide.
Brushless for sure, and quick.

My budget is about 500 but if it needs to be 650 or so then thats ok too.

I cant seem to find any rtr jet drives, lol.

Thanks for any help.

EDIT: Maybe a bit shorter, it will be used in a slow moving river as well as ponds.

As always, I recommend the Aquajet hull along with the Graupner 29mm jet drive. This boat was extremely fun to build, and I achieved great results in the end. Here's a video of it in action, unfortunately it's the unedited version, so there's a few other boats running in the same video. The jet boat is the unpainted yellow one. http://www.rcuvideos.com/item/STK07KKDN52YBTKH

Thats pretty much exactly what I am looking to build.
Is there a write up on the build and parts I will need?

Dragonfire, is there a page like that in English?

Here's my build thread. There's quite a few pics as the build goes along that will help give you ideas. http://www.rcuvideos.com/item/STK07KKDN52YBTKH

I assume you noticed the band of flags, representing the different languages?

I am still looking at it
I might be moving to Vegas next winter though, so trying to decide if I should commit to the time and money of this now or just buy a rtr supervee.
If I build I probably would lose a months running time if not more getting it to run, and well the season isnt really long here, lol

Would be nice to be able to run it in the creek though, I dont think the supervee would do well in the creek.
