i am using the motor that comes with the kit. and the hw and prop they sale in the hw kit.
i have blown up 2 esc. what esc are you using. it might be the batt plug i was using. i was using the micro jst style. will that hold up to the current pull or do i need to run the deans plugs.
please help. this is getting to be alot of cash.

RE: what esc for a renagade rigger
you will need a Deans plug, they draw 25 A or more under load. you will need a 25A ESC. I run this one (link below), BUT you need a transmitter that you can adjust the ARC on to kill the reverse part, it's a heli ESC & won't work with a normal transmitter, the new Spektrum DX3, Airtronics M11 or Futaba 3PK will work. if you have a normal transmitter you will need a car type ESC, but some won't work with that motor, ie the Castle creations mamba won't.

my friend uses this one on a JRXS3 transmitter & it works well.
