Im really not to worried about prices right now, I just want to know my options than go from there

RE: What charger to buy for Li-Po NiCd and NiMh
I have been searching and I am getting nothing but 50 / 50 opinions on just about all of them. I just wanted to hear REAL personal experiances with some and see what the RCU people are currently using...
Thanks
Ill look into what you mentioned.

mostly every article that is written is by a real person.
50/50 is all you will ever get. you have brand loyalty, bias choices because one can do something better then the other. but can do something else not as good as the other.

Many for you to check on and this is the place to do so. I have many chargers but my favorite for what you want is the ICE. It will do all of these has memory for 10 as well as will do the coming A123 cells. Do some research it's here for you.

I use Ice, Triton, Triton JR, Triton2 , MRC 989, polycharge4 , polycharge, MKII , Elite, TC 1030 for those types. If you could give us the specific max voltage and current requirement then we can recommend a specific charger that will fit your needs .

Thanks guys, I am new to this electric world of Rc'n!! And I just want to get the best run times out of a SV27 I am going to be getting. But I was told by a LHS Li-Po is better than the rest (Longer run times and better performance). But than I read how picky they are and they sound alittle dangerous!! I just dont want to blow the house up

My AC/DC Hyperion 606i reads the voltage of each lipo cell being charged. It also charges A123, and NIMH.
Lipo's are better if you buy some good ones to begin with such as FlightPower, Thunderpower, Polyquest with discharge rate of atleast 25c and 4500mah. Flightpower (Tower Hobbies) comes with a 90 day warranty against puffing and weak cells.

For the sv-27 and dual Nickel batts the 969 or 977 or dual peak by Hobbico is great.
For dual Lipos, maybe a pair of chargers and one big power suply would be best.

Hyperion 1210i or better, I started with the ICE but ended up selling it because it was limited. Don't get me wrong the ICE is a sweet charger and the display is nice, it just could not do multiple packs at once. With chargers you get what you pay for also, so if your scared of spending over $100 good luck! Remember, Nicd and Nimh are on their way out so look for a balancer that works with the charger you pick.
