I am curios as to whether a narrow boat is more likely to suffer from torque roll. I have been thinking of building a new boat but it is
quite narrow and i am wondering if there are any downsides of that, eg like torque roll.

Yes it may be more prone to torque roll. A way to get around this is use a motor with a higher Kv but smaller prop.
