The Predator Rigger would be your best option. It was designed for such motors.

I am almost finished my 75% scale Predator Rigger that I will be powering with an outrunner, should be fun, also the plans are free so you can't go wrong!

got the plans off link and blew them up(pedator). guy at copy store pulled off web site link and scaled them on the spot ,cost me like 3 bucks for 3 copys so i could butcher one for patterns , use one for layup and a spare for that just in case episode(pop spilled on table, glue stuck to it etc.) than ks to all and ill be beginning the wood cutting today before i go out on my real boat to watch fireworks tonite. ill give an update later and get more input for the hardware setup later. one last thing , where do i go to get the blue foam for the sponsons???

Just ran the boat yesterday (predator) at the Marine challenge event. Only had 1 day of testing, but went to the event, did 15 laps in 5 minutes, and won the event. . I was using a stock 27 turn motor that you could get for about £5. It was slower than I wanted, the cooling didn't work, so the motor was smoking, but it did what I needed it to do, and it did the job well. Give it a go. 1 piece of advice, the solinger hardware really isn't actually that good for a rigger.

5 minutes is a long time to run a rigger. Congrats!

One questions though. What is wrong with the Solinger Rigger Hardware?

im about ready to build up the boat and now i definately need advise on hardware. octura stuff i have used with success but do i want 1/8 stub with prop or 3/16. somewhere down the line i may run 8 cells and a brushless so i definatly want 3/16 drive cable. not only does octura hardware work its also the cheapest with parts available every where.

You want .130 flex with a 3/16" stub shaft stepped down to 1/8"

That is in my E1 rigger.
