Default What is E1 mono?

Just wondering what the def of an E1 mono is, seems like they run only a single 2s lipo? I am just trying to figure out a new power system for my 25" mono and 2S sounds interesting and easy, cheap(er).

Would I need like a 540 7L , 2S 4000-5000mah pack, 40mm prop? What run time and speed would this get me?

E1> 2S2P max, 27" max hull length, any motor, any cells up to 2S, any prop. These are race class designations. E2 would be 4S max, 33" max hull length.... etc....

Well, thats a nice pick of parts. I too have this hull but, haven't finished it yet. I can run a 6L, 7L, 8L, or a 6XL ( I have lots of motors and I race, 2 minute runtime max.).

I don't know the run time for that prop but, it sounds good for about 3 minutes (guesstimate!). Just check for heat every minute or so on first run and use a LVC, low voltage cutoff device if your esc doesn't.

I ran the 7L in a 26" hydroplane on 2S2P and a M445 prop for competition.

I would start with maybe a 37mm -38mm prop and work up to the 40mm. Like an x438.

Thanks for the info, I am still no closer on deciding what system to get for my hull though, I guess I am looking for around 40mph and 5min+ runtime, what would I need to do this in the 25" hull. I am 100% clued out when it comes to boats! [&:]
