Hey all: I have a BBY Micro Scat Cat that I finally got together and got out on the water. Randy at BBY made me a strut for it and set me up with the prop for the motor that came with it. I believe that it is an Aquacraft 540.
The boat also had ride pads installed that extent to the back of the boat adding to its over all length. (Yes Talor this is the boat I bought from you.)
The problem that I am having is that it bounces like crazy, almost completely out of the water. I does this even on relatively smooth water.
One guy on another forum said that the boat was too heavy, but I am running the 6 cell saddle back that came with it.
I have messed with the CG and strut angle with no luck.
I really like this little boat and l know that figuring out how to set up a boat is part of the learning process, but any help steering me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

i had my strut down. I never ran the boat with those cells so i am not sure on the weight dept. But that could very well effect it.
i ran small lipos and the boat was light.
do you have any smaller batts?

Thanks for the info. I do not have any small batteries yet, but I will try that. The boat does seem a bit heavy.
Did you run a saddle pack or a pack off to one side.

Thanks, I am going to try that as well a some strut adjustment when I get back from Mexico.
I am assuming that they were 2s packs so they were wired parallel.
