Default tiny rigger?

just as a fun project for something to putz around with, i thought maybe i'd build a really small outrigger boat. i'm talking like 12-18 inches small...

i've got all of the electrics (radio, brushless setup, and batts) and planned on putting an ammo 28-35-5700 in it, the motor has been on order to put in my mini rio, but i've pretty much given up on that and made it my rescue boat.

like i said, this would just be something to play with, and i would be likely building the hull from scratch out of hobby plywood. i love to tinker, and thought this would be a fun way to use some of my extra creativity in a good way, lol!

so what do you guys think?

I am working on an 11" rigger and then I will be building an 8" version! Both based on the Predator.

i made a 13 inch rigger out of cardboard and West system epoxy. it went pretty good.
cardboard is a good idea for such a small boat if you dont have alot of access to 1/32nd ply or stuff like that.

Do you mean ammo 28-35-5100 cause I didn't know they made a 5700kv version? This will run on max 2 cell LiPo, correct?

I like how many people are building Riggers these days. I myself am just starting/finishing the plans for a 34" rigger and an 18" smaller rigger. Should be interesting.

If I were you I'd scale some plans down to the size you wish to build. The predator plans seem popular enough.

i currently have a nitro rigger, about 32" without the rudder, and the thing screams. i just wanted to maybe get some practice building one before i got full into building a 130 dollar kit. also thought it would be fun to walk up to my local boat pond, whip out a 12" rigger, and watch peoples reactions
