Default What boat to buy

Hi

I come from a heli background and i'm looking at buying an electric speed boat.

I already have a tx/rx from using on my cars, so i am looking at just the boat, either lipo or nimh powered. I want it to be fast and with good handling and for a budget of say $300

Thanks

Jusrap

Black Jack 26 Brushless:
http://www.proboatmodels.com/Product...ProdID=PRB3300

Or Supervee 27 Brushless:
http://www.aquacraftmodels.com/boats/aqub17-main.html

Both can be sold around $300 at offshoreelectrics.com

If you would like to be a good tester to us all try out the newly released aquacraft hydro(YES it is now in stock in some places):

I see you are in Hong kong!

There is a boat called the "Prince" rcbt-1111, it comes from a Hong kong ebay site.
It is very stable and quick out of the box. It's ARTR at $210US.

Here are some pics.

It is a very good boat, better than the SV27, IMO it's far superior.

Regards, Brett.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the replys and the links to the sites. It's a difficult choice but i think i will check out the prince as i really don't need the radio gear and i don't want more tx's cluttering my already small workshop.

Thanks

Jus

Hey Jus,

Here is the link to the Hong Kong Site that sells it.

This is the best version available, IMHO, just add batteries and radio gear, then go out and have a ball!

If you need help setting it up when you have tried it, there are lots of threads regarding this boat to find out how to make it faster and more stable. (Even though it is really stable out of the box)

Merry Christmas Jay, Regards, Brett.

Hope Santa gets me one to!
