was looking through a bunch of differant boats and come up with this boat for a starter boat ....R/C Flying Fish Racing Boat(LS03914)...has anyone here know about this boat and if this would be alright for the first starter boat ....thanx sam

There is very little information there. I would steer clear of that boat. Any time one of the first things they say is "glossy finish" you stay away. Also vector steering is a bad design. (slows one prop down to turn) I'd look for a smaller hobby grade boat if this is your price range. Look at the Aquacraft Mini Rio. Small boat but much higher quality stuff and is upgradable. You'll see much higher performance. My only concern is if you think you need a big boat MR is not a big boat.
