Default baitboat help(4 pump driven) help!!

hi guys

ive just purchased a bait boat hull.
i have 2x 1100 gph bilge pumps (forward thrust) and 2x 800 gph (reverse)
4x mtroniks viper marine adjustable speed controllers
spektrum DX5 radio set.
rc lighting 4 motor mixer
The boat is wired as in diagram but i am having trouble getting the boat to be controlled how its supposed to.
Is there a way of having the control i would like as in diagram, (i.e forwards/reverse on left stick and left and right by right stick)
by using another mixer or V tail mixing.
Please help guys as im really stuck

Default RE: baitboat help(4 pump driven) help!!

Can you show more details and photos? So there's no rudders or anything? Essentially controlled via the four jets? What exactly is the issue?

If your looking at controlling the four jets for steering as well then the left side would be one channel(say throttle), the right another channel(elevator), you would need a remote with two sticks. Push both forward for forward and opposite to turn vehicle.... the other thing you could do is bind .... .. which remote? The airplane one?

You might beable to do this then... half left side(both motors) be channel aileron. Right side would be elevator. Turn off the remote and push up and enter(or down... ahh whatever to get into programming) and flick a couple screens till you find wing type. Set it to delta. All controls reverse, left right forward would be opperated by the right side of the remote. If you can't figure out the delta wing idea, then just get a V-tail mixer, will do same thing.

V-tail mixing is airplane stuff to let ya know but would work for this application.

Ivan.
