RE: Which is a better boat
Ive never played with the Villain, so my opinion is pretty one sided. I just like the appearance of the TS better. The Villain just looks 'driverless' with that open deck.
But I had a problem with prop shaft wobble on my TS. I fixed it with a carbon fibre sleeve.
Its esc can handle 2 x 7 cell packs. Go higher at your own risk.

RE: Which is a better boat
I have a villian and if you are looking for something fast don't buy it unless you are willing to tinker with it.
Don't get me wrong it is an awesome boat and mine was used a ton last summer.
Handles well and can be flipped with not too many worries about water damage as long as you get to it before it fills your battereis with water.
Also makes a great retrieval boat for a gasser if you ever go that rout.
I also have the SV 27 and that is the boat for speed but can be very unstable at high speeds and you will flip it.
V boats are awesome and handle very well.
