Hi all. I just bought a boat from ebay. I've never run an RC boat before, but I've been playing with RC cars for a couple of years now. The boat I purchased is a Venom Straight Jacket. Does anyone know anything about it. I've not seen any reviews, just a video of it on youtube. It was a smokin' deal...only 14 bucks shipped, so I figure I couldn't go wrong. Just want to know if it's any good, and if you have any tips. Thanks.

this from what i see is an inexpencive boat, twin motors , one shuts off to turn, and no rudder for steering. good for some basic fun, a nice introduction to boating. WELCOME by the way, haha. soon you will have 20 of them, and the price was right for sure.but i would not recommend doing any upgrades to it. unless you really like the hull and its durrable enough, then go for it. add a steering rudder/servo and esc with some motors. and have some more fun. just being honest, but i dont think its a real popular one here in the "SPEED ELECTRIC" area.
