Iknow this is a little of topic but i had two lipos in my hpi savage last weekend ones a 11.1 2200 15c, and the others a 11.1 4000 15c. Both batteries wont charge the 2200 when charging says cell volume to low and the other one says its a 2s but then when charging the middle cell goes from 0 to 2.1 in about 5 secs none of them got hot or went under the voltage minimum while running only after i unplugged them to let them cool to charge again did they say 2s and low cell volume. I have battery voltage monitors on both battery so i wouldnt go under the voltage min. is it just a feak occurance or was it because they arent the same batts. Is there a way to bring the cell back to life or is it toast.

they were in p and thats what i kinda thought, the 2200 just was overwhelmed.
good thing i only paid $15 for it and i can get them for about $10 at hobbycity

My Feedback: (325)
The two should've worked fine at 10C or so (if they are really 15 C batts) It may not be the p set-up at fault.
I think that it went bad for another reason. Or to state it another way, a 5000-6000 pack would've also went bad. One thing is for sure though is that if 1 cell in 1 pack went bad, low V or whatever it can cause trouble with the other pack and cells.
It is strange that no one cell went down too low during use , yet after bech testing them they apparently did not fair well. On your savage esc, how were they hooked? and how was your montor hooked? I'm curious also as to the discharge rate or runtime you got with the sav. (flux or regular e-sav?)

My setups is a etti 150a yes i know its a boat esc but im just using it for a little while and it works farely well and a feigao 12xl motor. I had a series connector that was wired correctly. After about 5 mins i disconnected the 2200 and then plugged the 4000 in by its self and ran about 10 mins longer the hole time i was checking temps and monitoring cell voltage. The low-voltage indicators plugss into the balancing port to detect cell voltage. Also they are 15c cont. batts.

Let me add this up. Batts were in series and full charged we assume.
We had 5 minutes of running at 21 volts and then 10 minutes of running at 11 volts.
Could the 2200 have been pulled at a high current and also discharged at too low of voltage both?
I sure can't explain the big battery being hurt though.
