Default Zippkits JAE 21 FE

Hey Fellas,
I was looking around here today and was suprised not to see any posts on the Zippkits JAE 21FE outrigger.
Here are some pics and video of mine for those that may be interested in this boat.
This is the JAE 21 FE with the UL-1 motor and ESC, powered by a Hyperion 4s 4200.

Mine is still in the box...got it two weeks ago. Going to make it nitro...to complete the fleet. One gas(cat), one electric(hydro), and one nitro(rigger).

How was the build? Any gotcha's with the instructions provided?

Ponds all thawed out and the boating itch is starting.....

Thanks

Doug,

Thanks for posting that!
Quite impressive considering the motor and ESC involved!

Looks like you could find a hotter prop. Nice though, you're just getting started.

Good Work Doug

John,
This is a great kit, no suprises. I already have another one on the build table.Build yours according to the instructions and go have some fun!

Hi Joe,
Thank you for making this boat available to the masses. I'm having a blast with it!!

Thanks Ray,
I collected a lot of data yesterday with Eagletree and yes sir, there is more to be had . I'm going to squeeze it some more next weekend.
Right now the warmest thing in the boat after seven laps is the motor leads at 101'F[sm=thumbup.gif]

Joe - plan on getting one from you as well as soon as the budget permits!
As I will be importing it I hope I can get more info regarding setups like:
          - BL motor (Kv and size)
          - 6S battery?
          - best prop for speed and race?

These boats are a absolute blast. We have five of the racing in the club, soon to be six.
I have three more builds gong on now. One is staying local the other two are going to Ohio and Michigan.[8D]

Hey Doug.

Would you happen to have any Eagle Tree graphs and Data to post?

What motor do you have? Will you race the boat or sport run? I run several different 4S 45C 5000 mAh packs in mine, but different makers have different dimensions so measure first to be certain yours will fit.
