Grrrrr.....[:@] Almost regret selling them but, I have other projects.
I would really like one of these but, $339 or so is a tad steep for me. When are they expected in?

RE: Miss Geico 29 Catamaran
It looks really nice (I've always liked the look of the real boat) and with Darin Jordan contributing to the design, it's really hard to pass up.
But...it's not out yet,
AND
The AQ catamaran is on the way too! I've been waiting for AQ to make a cat for a long time, and it looks really good from the preliminary photos.
Decisions, decisions.

RE: Miss Geico 29 Catamaran
impressive video. Not sure how much more speed it would handle as it's skating at those speeds (probably mid 30's) but for that power plant the setup looks perfect. Good looking boat. I'd like to see it in some chop.

I can see these selling very fast!
If you were to use a 1800Kv or the 2030Kv Aqua craft motors, a smaller prop, this thing would be bullistic. The hull looks fabulous.[8D]

RE: Miss Geico 29 Catamaran
The more I look at it, the more I like it. That hardware is leaps and bounds better than that blasted steerable outdrive on the BJ26.
I think AQ will have a hard time beating this boat with their upcoming cat. I just don't see any downsides to the Miss Geico. I guess it could use a 2.4 ghz radio though (the boat has an antenna sticking out, so I don't think it's 2.4)
Now with that inner lid that seals the inside of the hull, how well does it seal? Do I still need to tape the hatch (other than just minimally to hold it on in the event of a flip)?
