Hi everyone. Quick question if anyone can help. Does anybody know if i can use dual7 cell 5000 mah NiMh on my Stock Proboat Formula Fastech without overloading the ESC. I know Lipos are faster but they are too expensive, maybe when they get cheaper. If anyone can help i would appreciate it.</p>

If lipos get any cheaper they'd give them away.
Where are you buying lipos? decent quality nimh are expensive & hard to find... Most nimh can only safely deliver about 75- 100 amps at very best unless you are something special with matching cells & cycling
You can get 4S 20C 5000's at HC for $30 each, expensive?????

Just scroll down the pages:http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...5&ParentCat=85
Your LHS as been molesting your wallet too much, keep buying some stuff from him to keep him alive for when you need something "right now" (if he as good stock)
But don't be shy about buying oversea when the price difference become obscene[:-]
