Default Painted my shockwave

Just finished painting and installing an LEDlight bar on my shockwave as I am doing a Police theme boat. I have special Delaware State Police decals being made but they have not come in yet. Here are a couple before and after pics and a video of the working light bar.

that looks nice, the light bar is great. what did you use for paint?
I used dupicolor sandable primer and then got some 1 stage clear/base from Sherwin Williams Automotive.. really came out nicely.. this was my first painting experience as well so im def happy with how everyhting came out...

Very Nice! Good work man! I really like the light bar. Paint came out great too. Can't wait to see some vids of it up and running again..hopefully it won't be too hard to see on the water, I know when I had mine done in blue the first time, it wasn't the best color to see the boat..all you saw was the rooster tail haha. But a darker blue might be different, as my CBM Marlin is a similar color to that and I haven't had any problems with that boat.:



Here is the original blue I did on mine with a water drop effect that was hard to see when driving it:




My new synergy green repaint stands out nicely tho!

Have always wanted one..this is my last TB..was an 06:



Fiance and I just picked up a silver 05 yesterday with 9k miles!! Plan to go the SS look/sport truck look route on this one since it is 2wd.

lol yes it is.. im not sure what pics are on my photobucket account but I got 22" black wheels with a chrome lip and then did a professional photoshoot. looks awesome.. whats your email ill send them to you..

i cant wait until its up and running again either.. my new esc should be here in another week or so then 3s here i come.. hopefully that will turn it into a little water rocket!

actually im gona have to disagee with you about trailvoy lol..i used to be a member there but then got started up with tbssowners.com which is by far a better site haha... i dunno i didnt like some of the responses I got over at trailvoy and neither did alot of others so this guy from northern cali started this new forum and its great.. come join over here www.tbssowners.com. We have about 7000+ members and its a very active forum. There is also and also www.eastcoasttbss.com. My name on both site is obviously JawzSS lol.

As far as your boat goes, i really like the green and black paint job!

looks like a nice forum...didnt see any areas for my little 4.2 on there tho lol. if I ever actually get an SS (unlikely) I will have to wander over there!

Get that damn boat running already..I come on here daily to see if there are any updates lol

So the paint you used was a single stage then? or was it a base coat, clear coat?

Also, where did you get the light bar and how are you powering it
