Hi I have a Traxxas Villian EX, an old version when it just came out. I partially sunk it and water leaked through the servo booties destroying the ESC. I the replaced the ESC with a Novak Superduty and added an additional water cooled heat sink. I believe the ESC overheated and now I lost all partial throttle, the boat only will run at full throttle. Reverse does not work, the ESC only flashes green.
Is there any way of fixing this or is it time to upgrade to a Titan?

Well I think I will buy a new ESC for it since I already have brand new motors waiting to be installed. However this will be after I purchase a new TITAN.
Regarding the TITAN, which LIPO batteries and charger would be ideal? I am familiar with LION batteries but am a noob when it comes to LOPOs. What C rating would I need and would I want a hard pack or shrink wrap pack? Also what would be a god charger for those packs, I hate how my NIMH charger keeps tripping off on false alarms.
