Hi everyone,
Just got a RIO not too long ago and notice it fills up with water pretty quickly and even though I taped the radio box good I already ruined the ESC due to water.
I wonder if my bilge system that wraps around the engine to cool is working properly?
How does the bilge work in these boats? From there I can figure out if it works properly.
Any ideas to keep the dry while running would be appreciated too.
Thanks

Just so you know there is no bilge pump like there would be on a real boat. The water hoses are to bring water in and cool the engine. The water pickup is in the back, goes around the motor and exits the side, it should not be ending up in the hull. I would check you hoses and also the drive shaft tube. The drive shaft tube has to be greased to prevent water from coming in through the tube.
