Oh i got 1 more question on batterys on the proboat website they suggest a dynamite 3300mah sub c pack for 34.99 and i was looking at towers and they have a 1500mah tower pack for 8 bucks is it cause 1 is ni/mih and 1 is ni/cid? Please help me out i dont wanna spend to much on a battery I wouldnt mind getting like 2 or 3 of the tower 1500mahs buy are they any good or should i go with like a dynamite 3300mah pack?

Don't waste your money on NICD. That is old technology and you have to make sure to discharge it before it can be charged again. Plus the resistance is higher therefore the output is lower. Do yourself and get the NIMH 3300 packs.

I would also get some cheap 300 Mah Rocket Packs and a Peak Charger, as it cahrges in 30 mins, enouf time 4 da motor to cool and get a drink, then go running again!!! I would myself reccomend a Dynamite Prophet Plus or a Duratrax Pirannah AC/DC Peak Charger, the first is 40 bux, and the second is fifty. The nice thing about the fifty dolla one is that it will charge 8 cells, as the Dynamite will charge 7 if you ever want to use more. I have used both chargers and both are great, but the Dynamite is better for beginners, as it is very simple and it has a 5yr warranty.

on horizonhobby.com the dynamite prophet plus is only 30 bucks and it charges 4-8 cells on ac/dc power. Im not really a beginner ive had electric cars and stuff before:)
