Min-Wax Polyurethane?
I use epoxy to coat my hulls, some people use laquer, some use polyester resin. My question is can i use [link=https://www.hardwareworld.com/Pt-Polyurethane-Gloss-pYB7M4P.aspx]this[/link]to seal the inside of my hull. What about the outside?

Yes, polyurethane will seal wood just fine. I've even used it in hulls in spray form to reach places I could not otherwise reach (in a hydro hull). You will want to put several coats (at least 3) to make sure. It is chemical resistant as well. It does not add any strength as epoxy will, but it does seal wood. On a wood hull it can also lay down a very nice finish that can be buffed to a very high gloss if desired.

I use Minwax Helmsman Spar Urethane (satin) on all my wood boats. I paint other products over it as clear wood finishes are not my thing. It's highly fuel proof and other products seem to adhere to it without problems. You can add micro ballons to it to get it to fill better (1st coat). 3 coats are the minimum I would use. Wait 2-3 days between coats and sand with 400 after each coat. If you want it glossy, buy the gloss spar urethane but use the satin for the first coats.
