RE: PROBOAT APACHE 24
Over kill for the boat, but if you plan on moving to a better, faster boat later it doesn't hurt to purchase and ESC that you can use elsewhere.

RE: PROBOAT APACHE 24
Well I got the apache today put a traxxas plug on it pulled the shaft lined it set the outdrive and went to the lake, I ran a 2 cell lipo 4000 mah 25c battery and I must say I was pretty impressed with how nice it runs . Out of the box with that battery she's pretty fast not bad for a stocker. I rolled it and landed upside down . Everything was dry once I got it , I didn't happen to bring my retrieval boat so I had to wait for it to blow to the side. Over all I'm happy , I'm gonna try a bigger mah battery but stay with 2cell and see what happens. Wait to burn it up before I go brushless.

Turn the steering trim down. Its a very narrow boat and it will flip a lot. This is why mine is now a retrieval boat. But over all its a fun boat.

RE: PROBOAT APACHE 24
Burned up the stock motor and I put a graupner 600 bb motor in it but havent hit the water yet . What kind of performance can I expect from that motor. I'm not gonna go brushless till everything frys.

RE: PROBOAT APACHE 24
Ok well went to the lake today ran the boat with the new motor stock prop and 2cell 4000 lipo and it ran awesome with very nice speed but that was short lived. The motor didn't even last I full battery . It sounds like a winding or something came loose and it making a nasty noise and also the rear bearing looks deformed. Starting to get frustrated.
