Jet

Was looking through the "tear into" thread
Looked all the way through, but couldnt find a link to anywhere i could buy replacement impellars
Would any of them work
Not the whole unit
Just the shaft and prop

ryanwilson is right. The tear into shaft is 2.3mm and the one the for mini jet is 3mm. Both are 19mm impellers. Other than buying another drive or making a new impeller by turning down one made for a 2mm shaft, It is the only option.

I suppose you could use a lathe, but most use a drill press with the propeller to turn mounted on a shaft and spinning. And then use a file to turn down to the right size. The best way is to put the file in a "X" "Y" vise so that you can slowly apply the file to the spinning prop. Hope I didn't confuse you too much. I think dragonfire said he used a 26mm Graupner prop for a 2mm shaft to turn down. Good luck.
