Default Wood Mid-West Missile Build

Heres a modded MWM ive been working on.I changed the tub to 4" and stretched it 2" and removed the hood/cowel and made my own full glass one.Heres a few pics,...

Hi Scott,..Im trying a few different things. With this first experiment I did this to minimise air drag giving the back of the sponson lift. This is only a theroy.So well see how it pans out.Ill be playing arround with the bottoms also.Its proven that a golf ball will go further with the dimples,so Ill be adding a similar pattern to the ride surfaces to break up the air/water resistance too.Ill be using a stock set of sponsons for a controll to compair.

Air and water greatly differ in the drag dynamics ... dimpling on a ride surface in contact with water IMO is going to cause more drag.
Better yet is using a design already proven over and over again being SHINGLES
They can be single row or made to produce a tunnel between them ... both ways work outstandingly well.
Just suggesting a different approach that may yield better results

Thank you for the input Scott.I will try this.Ive seen a few different single methods. Is it better to use small or larger?
