Default Pacer 50 (from Big Tee Racing)

Hi, I recently bought a Pacer 50 and thought I'd post my progress on it so far.

Looks good. That is a big boat. What was you reasoning for putting the center line of the stuffing tube so high up of the running surface?

I'll probably turn the hole into a slot before I run it so I've got a bit of adjustability. The center line is 14mm up from the bottom at the minute (looks more in the picture). Where it is now will be the top of the slot.

Do your ears a favour ... and order the silencer from RCMK too.

NO USA-silencer .. they don't meet the European -82dB regulations.

Hi HendricX

It's a Cooper Cobra with an internal stinger, so hopefully won't be too loud. I've got a silencer on standby just in case.

Nice looking boat!

Can you explain what is the purpose of the small container connected to the fuel tank? Is it some sort of vent, if so how does it work?

Never tried it before, but from what I've been told it stops water from getting into the tank.
The brass tube goes into the center of the small tank, in a dunk it would take more than half of the small tanks worth of water to enter before it could get into the fuel.
Thought I'd give it a try.

After a few attempts I'm quite happy with the design now, just needs a screen adding.

Hi Lee

AT least with the black screen the hatch does look more in tune with the boat. It looked too small for the size boat but now it looks great. I really think you should get more air into that hatch motor is going to starve.
