Default Original Rio 51

I keep hearing a mixture of good and bad about the original RIO 51. Did it come with a clutch? I would like to hear the pro's and con's on the boat. Is the radio any good? Also is there a way to retrieve a boat from a lake beside having a real boat to do that?
Thanks in advance.

I love my Rio!

The Fuji engines did not come with cluttches nor can you put clutches onto it without having to modify a few things.

The radio it came with is sufficient but its just that -sufficient.

I would not attempt that unless you are a licensed diver with a buddy who is licensed as well +a boat on the water.

Depends on how big the lake is and how far out you are if the boat dies. I've been to some lakes where all you need is a fishing pole with a tennis ball attached to it, I think most will agree that access to a boat with a buddy is best.
