Nice looking boat! I am in the market for a WHH boat and I am seriously considering the Magnum 57 b/c I will primarily be running on a large lake. Given the fact that it is a larger boat, does it still make sharp turns? Just wondering if it is too big for a pond.

I am also considering a magnum 57. How rough of water can it handle? And is it difficult to run in a smaller pond???? I would appreciate any feedback.

Thank

Harvick

The magnum 57 I have is the best boat out there for rough water in my opinion,I have had many boats and I would prefer running the 57 over any of my other boats as for running in a small pond mine has the dual rudder setup on it so it will turn on a dime but to see the boat really shine you need a pretty good size lake to really stretch it out.this boat is smooth in any kind of water,I would get one if I were you it will not dissapoint YES I AM PLUGGING WAREHOUSE HOBBIES THEY MAKE A GREAT BOAT

Iam using my express craft 57" powered by a zen 26 in a small lake here in the uk the 57" turns far better than any other boat i have owned .It only has a single rudder system .if it turned any shaper i think it would flip over.Ive posted some videos in the members videos. i havent run it in rough water as yet but it will handle it iam sure as its huge . Its the he best boat i have ever run without a doubt.

The smallest area I have run my boats in is roughlty the size of half of a football field. (50 yards long). However, I usually go to the lake. I was considering the Enforcer Super G, but it sounds like the Magnum 57 will be more versatile for me. Thanks for the info gasfreak. Happy boating.

THANKS magnum57
1. They like to be run in water
2. Just charge your batteries & add mixed gas.
3. They are really slow in the sand and it’s hard on the props.

Sorry, I saw where you’re from and couldn’t help myself. If you’ve been running cars you’ll do fine. Just follow the directions for mixing your gas and charge everything up. From what I’ve heard about this boat they run pretty good right out of the box.

Not sure what happened but since it's back I still have the boat with a mid mod zenoah in it now.I have gotten several boats since this one some that are a lot faster, but I always take this one along kinda like you favorite hunting dog.I have had a lot of good runs on this boat and it is still in great shape

I also have a new Mag 57. I have a BH Hanson modded Zenoah. I expect it to run well. They are not real fast boats low to mid 40s. My buddy has one and its a hoot to drive. Its almost impossible to turn over. Its like a rocket out of the hole. Full throttle hole shot will blow a hole in the water ( cavitate ). The hulls are hand layed fiberglass cloth & resin 4 layers then full gel coat application. Stringers are 1/2" 7 ply birch( very strong ) . Composit strips are glassed in on each side of the hull ( inside ) for non flex or buckle support. Notice in one picture the 3/8"
marine plywood glassed over transom. These boats are bult to take it. No problem in 8" to 1 foot waves.

Keep the hobby alive!!

Hey pyro1,
Great looking boat. I've had my Magnum for around 2 months. Great time on the H2O. I'm new to this hobby. I don't know haw to tune it but at top end it sputters some times. I got a boat buddy and can hook up the hose so I tried to run it out of H20 and it runs perfect except for a wa,wa,wa now and then at wide open. I'll just have to learn to tune it I guess. Got the info how to on the model power boat club site. My wifes going to kill me. I also just got a Super Sport 46" by Warehouse hobbie and can't wait to get it wet. I don't know why but also baught a ShockWave55. It looks very cheesy next to my Enforcers. Oh well I guess I have a new addiction. My Cen Genesis 4x4 truck and boats will keep me buisy. Sweet hobby. Rocky at White bone is biulding a trailer for my magnum should be sick pulling with the 4x4. If I ever figure out how to post pics I will. Keep it wet

Size matters is what I'm told. So gurth counts. Can I adjust the high needle just hooked up to my boat buddy. Or do I need a load on the motor. Adjusting in the lake is a ***** and scary for me. I think I know how to read a plug ???
The Manta Ray is a sweet boat. Are you running it stock. Do you have dual rudder on it. Hard to beat the Warehouse Hobbie product for a newbie like me. I'm glad I started with that boat. All the rest of the rtr's have a hard time keeping up with the Enforcers. But what do I know. ( not much) The 46" Super Sport is also awsome boat + it fits in my car. I guess its the same as your Manta Ray and the Magnum just shorter. I have'nt even run it yet. Still new and to nice to let a ding dong like me mess it up. Need to learn to drive these things first. Make it FUN. (gas freak where are you)

you can adjusted the idle with your radio before you put it in water...screw on carb shows H or L run boat a full speed and return to shore pull plug then read it, adjust H screw ...rich screw to left or lean to right as needed if motor is new you want to run richer. i lke dual rudders just have to adjust my radio down or it turns to FAST. i like to adjust my idle with radio so prop just starts to turn when on stand, then in the water and awayit goes never stalls......

Wow thanks for the help I'll try that this weekend. Stupid me didnt read part on H and L. Hope that takes care of the wa, wa ,wa. I guess it takes time to learn what the plug is telling me. I noticed this boat turns on a dime and keep thinking I'm going to flip it. Can't see how I haven't yet. Is there a way to adj on controller ?

i have a JR radio and you can adjust throw on the radio with trim, dont know if yours will but i bet it will read radio manual or go to manufactors web and down load manual.... i set my steering responds to 45% and that works for me....you want sparkplug a tan color and a little wet...better a little rich than lean. make fuel adjustments on carb a little at a time no half turns, only 1/8 turn at a time. hope this helps just post and if i can i will answer any thing on these great WHH boats

I got the Supersport on _bay also and its been in the H2o only for twenty minutes. Man this stuff is great. I dont even want run my Genesis 4x4 anymore. Its all about the RC boats rite now.
