Default Zen 260 pullstart cord replacement

Has anyone replaced their pullstart cord. Is the screw that holds the ratchet system reverse thread?

they are standard thread but have some thread locker on them and can be next to impossible to remove with the screw head still intact hold a hot solder gun tip on screw this will loosen any thread locker on there and removal will be a snap ( dont snap bolt)

has anybody tried to retrofit their zen with the new easy-start starter? it seems like it should fit right inplace of the old one. it would sure be easier to start and less wear and tear on boat.

fastrat- i read the threads and it seams like this is not the started with the spring that winds up and spins motor over for you. according to xxx there you still have to pull hard. if you go to zenoahs website they have a demonstration of the new redmax easystart so i know the spring version exists for it. i've used one on a stil chain saw and they are awsome!
