RE: Pro boat Shockwave 55
I have a shockwave 55 SS and the Blackjack 55 and am overal very pleased with them. Nice boats for the money. Sure there are ways they could be better but the price is right. I modified mine to be able to run off electric power as well

RE: Pro boat Shockwave 55
I have officially run one tank of gas thru my boat and love it! I know where to get the prop but what is this jug your talking about and where do I get it? Would a 280 prop be better?

It's a modified cylinder to replace the stock one for the engine. I put one in mine from warehouse hobbies called the M-5 kit. They also sell a whole M-5 engine if you want to go that way. Mine included a mod. cylinder, mod. piston, new ring, and gaskets. I think it's about $90.00

on the pipe. A nice mod 275 or X472 would be much better.

Daniel, that's what I was thinking too. I'm running a X470 and a modified 670 on mine. It really turns the X470 and I'm thinking about trying the X472. The X470 is the best running prop I have so far, and from my experiences, stay away from three blade props. I have tried three different ones and my boat don't like them.
