Hatch Ideas
Guys - Was wondering if you could give me some ideas on hatch holding ideas. I am thinking something stainless with a quick screw down. Was wondering if you have any pics or suggestions.

RE: Hatch Ideas
Model Gas Boats. com has a good hatch article this isssue.

Click on the menu on the right.

I like the "O-ring" method, the Orings will break in a crash without too much damage.

RE: Hatch Ideas
Thanks Mike - Are you using the bolt method or using the plastic mounts on boat and hatch.
Do you use 30 minute epoxy or resin and fiberglass for the rods in front
I am pretty new at this so excuse the questions.

RE: Hatch Ideas
Can anyone point me to more pics on the bolt method of holding the hatch down - is it as simple as using a cap screw with washer and nut.

RE: Hatch Ideas
Hi,
have you thought about using rear earth magnets?
You have the safety of them letting go instead of ripping the cowl apart and easy to get it off to start!
