Johnny,
Thanks for the clarification, the way otto's post was worded I thought that was his boat. Like I said though, deep pockets to build a boat of that caliber... Lots of bucks but the result is nothing short of perfection! The only thing it's missing is a pair of Wren gas turbines!

well curt i have to say . you have a very beutifull boat there. and it is one of my insperations to build one, but it will only be luck if it comes out almost nice as yours . i think it is your boat in a 5 minute video i have and in the very end it flips over did it suffer alot of damage to it due to all of the detail?

No, nothing happend. I flipped the boat until today two times each time it was running over 100km/h, but it's quite incredible, both times nothing happend, i took the boat out of the water, cleaned the engines, started again and had a lot of good runs for the rest of the day.

in 1999, as i had decided, building this boat, i went to Savona ( north Italy), where a Class One race took place. Here i was able to make a lot of pics from the original boat and i got to know some people from the Victory team, they let me walk on the ship lying on the trailer. So i took all of the details, the cockpit, the engines and so on. It was one of the most exciting days of my life, these arabian people are incredible friendly and helpful.
Regards
Curt

If you were to build the boat again Curt, would you consider running the Zenoahs in place of the nitro motors. I know you have a preference for nitro motors. What are your feelings on the performance of the twin twin zenoahs in the 2.33 cat ?
I have recieved word that I will be getting a preview in a few long months for a 2.4m cat (thats 95") that I may be carrying. Also a 110" Euro style Vee. I will keep you all posted. (I will have to have one each for myself too )

Curt,
1st I must say that is one of the most beautiful and detailed R/C models I have ever seen. Now that I have told you something you haven't heard before Do you have any pics or films showing the techniques used to mold the Carbon fiber hull or perhaps info on lay up?
Thanks!!
