Default Center of Gravity

I have a 41 in Stryker cat with a modded 260. Howevere the motor is a bit too far forward the way I have it. I have gone back and read the posts where the CG should be about 33-34% for this type of hull correct. I will add a couple of pics. I am getting rid of the clutch and doing a few mods but before I did I wanted to hear from you guys who run this hull what the best CG is.

Thanks

Scott

racing 32-33% keep the nose low, strut height is critical. Get a 100* header first mod! 7016/2 prop
playing 30% let the nose fly!

Thanks Mike,

Yes I will be getting a 100 degree header soon. That is a wrap to center. Sounds good, I will make sure I am around 32-34% because my intent will be to race this.

hello doug
i ran a cat on a 34 cg but engine is stock [zen] it runs ok but yesterday i experienced that the prop angle is important .by the way do you run that nice black cat with an open hatch and have no problems ?
MY CAT HAS A PARIS COWL and i had to remove the velocity stack before carb as it stopped due to water in carb.

hello mr mike,
do you think the header will help performance and what is the brand of prop you mentioned before 7016-2 ?

As of now, I have ran it with the drag style cowl but I jut ordered a turbo cowl due to that exact problem. I dont want to hydrolock my motor. I currently have an X472 on the cat and will try others.
