Twin set of twins will go under the hood. Here's a pic of one of the twins:

Trade you my Gamecube for it

Can't wait to see the numbers on that one. What are you using for drives?

Not sure yet....either two S6's or two surface drives. I am building it for myself (since I don't have a boat of my own). It will be fully detailed inside (see my post on the 73" blackhawk cat). I haven't decided on all the details yet, but i assure you it will be wild!

I don't know if you seen the pics of my cat, but I used 5/32" aluminum tubing for some of the water line runs. I don't know if it's too restricting but doubt it. I bet you could do a much nicer job with tubing if you so desired it. Also, WHH makes a real nice injection molded radio box now...... looks alot nicer than the plastic ones out there, even looks better than some of the F/G ones. http://www.easycart.net/whobbies/Radio_Systems.html

I've done the water lines through aluminum tubing before and I agree it looks real nice and clean....just didn't happen on this one.

I like the WHH radio box too...just not too fond of the tape down lids.

I used some 5/16 tubing to run the water lines along the left rail in this boat....a 73" vhull with a QD35

raj, who's hull is that ? bonzi ? I want to get a apache for my next build. I like some of MH$'s big hulls , i just don't thnk i will spend that kind of money for there hull. I like the bigger boats, just so you can use your imagination, and have the room to make a custom build. let me know if you need anything made for that boat from my fabrication shop.

That's hot , 2 twins . very nice.
That's the best looking Apache decals I've ever seen.

Now I'm thinking about then on my Apache, I will let you know!

How tall and long are the decals on side of the hull?

Nice Raj . more pic's when you can!

Steve

Marine specialties, yes they use o-rings.

Raj, I can't wait to see the finished pics! How do you like the M-Boat mounts? Are they quality pieces?

Yup, if you look on M-boats web site , you will see they don't have any hardware, mounts, cooling jackets or carb blocks in stock---I cleaned them out... got every last piece. Good quality stuff. I'm waiting on my next order to come in.

I'm not sure about the MS 84" Apache for $450... I have never seen one, but I would assume any hull from marine specialties is of acceptable quality. Are you comparing it to the $300 apache from expresscraft? If these are the boats you are considering, I would fork over the extra $$ and buy the MS apache. Keep in mind though that you will only pay 30 bucks to get the 70" expresscraft shipped to you. Any 84" boat will cost closer to 150 for shipping.

I suspected as I can't find much on the web anywhere. Does your sign shop give you any coprright BS when you need a logo reproduced?

Nice BIG boat by the way! I bet she will fly.

Nope, no copyright bs. It's not that easy to make all of them though. There is a lot of prep work from me (photoshop, taking pictures of real boats, drawing, etc) before the final product is done on some of the more complex decal packages. The decals themselves are not that cheap either. The first set can be expensive (50-200 bucks)....all the subsequent sets are pretty cheap (10-50 bucks). It is not a bad deal if you get several sets made like I do (but most people don't need several sets).

I might be wrong on this one....I just looked at MS's web site and they say they will ship anything (including hulls) for $7.50!! Not sure if that's a typo...if it's not- that's a heck of a deal on shipping for hull.

I get the zenoah engines from my distributer and I am a dealer/manufacturer for the inline coupler.
