Question about my hydro, first time running, never ran a quickdarw, but I have been following so much advice from you guys, I think Im ready to test.
I found a small man made lake, that indicates no motorcrafts, but I think If I go there early before people walk there dogs at this park, maybe I can get away with it. There is a boat launch, because at one time there was a ski club on this small lake.
My boat I think is ready, but is there anything I should take to the lake, with me, other than what I think is needed. I have no spare batteries, so I'll be sure they are nice and charged.
I have no blow up dingy, so I guess the old tenis ball and rod.
I'll be sure to run it close to the shore, at low speeds. Any tips? My big concern, is I have no auto bailers on this hydro, so water will get in, and around the boat, so my radio box, is sealed, but not perfect. Should i do a couple of passes, then bring it back to shore, then check everything?
What do you think?
