Tom Morehouse did an EXCELLENT job designing the Fire fighter riggers !! They work really well and in the right hands can be a lethal tool against the competition.

** Riggers tho are by design the MOST SENSITIVE to the accuracy of the build. Squareness, accuracy of all angles & ride surfaces must be SPOT ON for them to run right at speed !
#1 issue that plaques them is a decent cowl that keeps water out of the carb during the launch & while running. even a small amount of water spray getting into the carb quickly ruins the engine.

Good luck in your quest

VERY GOOD, not to mention pretty much one of the ONLY gas rigger plans around for the general public.

The build itself isn't difficult at all, but as Scott mentioned earlier, it is absolutely paramount that things be built straight and true, otherwise you will have a whole raft of problems on your hands when it comes time to run it.

As long as you're patient and accurate you will get a good result.

Riggers are addictive, I personally find them fun to build, turning a heap of sticks into something that goes as fast as they do give you great satisfaction, but set ups on them (or any rigger) can also be a point of great frustration.

Build one, you wont regret it

Johno
