You best add more stickers for more speed

If you add "VTEC" or "Ralliart" you should pick up some crazy speeds!

Change the header and pipe to aluminum , like from BH Hanson or you can even use the wet pipe from WHH. I and a few others where one of the first to get the RIO and had a few problems with it but in the end all was sorted out. The stock motor will get you over 40 with the right prop. I myself have removed the stock motor and put a Zen from WHH (M5) because once you hit 40 you gonna wanna go faster. It is a great hull and boat. In the begining the motor is a pain but once set and tuned it's good. I say go for it, it's a good boat but change the pipe and header for it will save you the headache. I know Grim posted a fix for the pipe and header but have not seen or heard anything about it. Goodluck !!

Sweet!!! I think im going to get it here with my next paycheck.. Yeah i read the reveiw here on rcuniverse and it said something about the manifold being one of the only weakpoints on the boat.. Do you think it will be harder to tune then my nitro T-maxx?? Because im kinda hoping to get a gasser to get away from all the tuning hassles ya know. Also how long of run times should i be expecting?? And one last question, do you know of a good website the sells boat parts and decent prices??

Thank You and by the way your boat looks siiiiiick dude and thats comming from someone whos not a bud light fan

harder to tune than nitro, NO WAY!, MUCH easier!!!
Expect about 1/2 hour +/- run time...depends how easy you are with the throttle.
Ebay, and any online hobby shop will get your parts, buy why?....just call Hobby Services (warranty place) and they will GIVE you your broken parts! No upgrades yet that I'm aware of through AquaCraft, only aftermarket.

It is way easier to tune than a nitro. There's alota info on the RIO in these forums. The stock RIO can go as long as 30 minutes. As for parts there are all kinds of places. Go to Modelgasboats.com and there are links to probably most of the best places on the net. Links are all the banners to right of page. WHH has tons of stuff and very reliable upgrade Zen motors for very cheap. I use Redline, WHH, CC, Bonzi, Gas Products, we'll allmost all of them on Model gas boats. Bonzi has props that are good and won't break the wallet. CC has Speedmaster struts and rudders. When the day comes too upgrade these are the places to get your goodies from, and that will be soon...lol. BY the way I drink Heineken and that will be on my other RIO.
