Default Engine problem

I have a McColloch MT310X 32cc

The problem i have is that the pullstart needs fixing and i cant remove the clutch

Anyone no how to do it.

Do you have a piston stop tool ? If not you can use small string and put a lot of it down the spark plug hole, enough to stop the piston when turned over,with about a 6" pieace sticking out from the spark plug hole and try to turn the clutch off. then pull out the string. It should work.

The problem i have is that i cant remove the rusty casing you can see in the picture around the clutch.

There is usually a screw that holds the clutch bell on some use a torx head.

yep theres a hex screw up the hole where the flexy cable gos undo that and the bell will come off then the clutch unscrews off to crank i think its a left hand thred so just check that
