Default Which 26cc engine ?

Hi

Im looking into bying a gas boat.
I think ill try Hydro & marine X-Ray hull.

It needs a 26cc gas engine.
I can see that MHZ has a few to choose from.

They have these:

Chung Yang CY-R263A 26 ccm Marine Motor Leistung (power): 3,13 kW (4.2 hp)
Zenoah G260 PUM Leistung (power): 1,8 kW (2,4 hp)
Zenoah G260 PUM-Blue Line Leistung (power): 2,1 kW (2.8 hp)

so......does the chung yang engine realy have almost twice the power of a stock zenoah ?
Looking at the performance numbers, makes me want to choose the CY, but is it realy better ?

BTW, anyone have the X-ray, or seen one in action ?

Mhz While they have some top scale pieces, They are quite spendy. I would get one of these top race motors, cc racing m&d toxic butch man, mrd. To name some of the best. If you have the spare money get a quickdraw 25ht(7.25hp). It makes more power than even the cc racing and m&d's motors about 1/2hp more, with more torque.

Cy's are cheap power and can have problems. The 27cc is said to be best and fully modded and will push a 50" deepvee in the 60mph area trimmed and proped right

You can also score for nearly half the price of a brandnew motor. A used one on jims boatdock, Sometimes they are brandnew

The cy 25.4 makes 5.5hp with a pipe. Because while they say it is stock, It's not it's basicly mildly modded the way it comes. The problem with the cy's is the 2bolt jug instead of four like zenoah's A big weak spot. You can do a few things to get them to run good but alot of times they are on jim's with broken or cracked jugs. You usually get what you pay for. And a stock zen is only 200 bucks

There is a 25.4cc cy right now for 165dollars with the right head gaskette and some other goodies if you choose to go that route, All rebuilt
