You can just run a coil of fuel tube about 18" long on the vent, you just have to remember to fill it up first after a flip, or run it to a film canister, anything that will prevent water from entering the vent.

you put 2 holes in the top of the film canister, one in the middle you run a brass tube to that extends about 1/2 way into the canister, that one you hook to your vent line. When you flip the cold water makes your fuel tank suck in through the vent, so the water goes into the film canister but can't reach the middle vent line. After a flip just pop the top and drain the water out.

if you look where the film canister is attached, just in front of it ( or behind if you prefer) there is a Dubro Kwick fill for refueling the tank.
I also use one, works great and no problems so far.

RE: SULLIVAN TANKS FOR GAS BOATS
While we are on the topic of fuel tanks, I just bought an arrowshark tank, it has a large removable cap for refueling with a small vent in it and the tank also has 2 outlets. My carb is a 644 carb with two fuel fittings aswell, do i plumb the two fittings to the tank and not worry about a vent hose? i also found that the oneway valve in the cap requires a great deal of vacuum to work... too much in my eyes, but its still untested so im not sure.
