fine tuned RIO fuji
Took the RIO out today finished breaking it in it ran great put about 3 tanks through it run good the fuji gave no trouble at all started on the4th or 5th pull everytime had trouble with the steering linkage it came off when I was making a turn and befor I could get it shut down it hit my boat ad dinged the tip up a little not to bad I was having trouble with the throttle when I let off it would run for about 5 seconds before it would slow downchecked on the bench and its not binding thinking maybe the reciever batterys were going down dont know any thoughts

will a lean setting give you this type of problems and how could you tell if its to lean I thought when it was to lean it would run hard and then stall thanks guys

Your tune is probably not far off. The LSN needle probably needs to be slightly tweaked. At idle the motor is more forgiving to the fuel/air mixture than at WOT. If the high speed needle is tuned where you want it, it is now time to work on the LSN.

Replace the steering links on your RIO with Monster Ball links on both ends.
The RIO rudder end link strips at the ball nut threads very easily and the servo end link won't stay on if you go to a stronger servo.
You can get Monster Ball links at Tower Hobbies and you will have to shorten the link rod a little.

hey cuda you said the LSN needs to be tweeked does this help with top end on the motor and will the fuji stand a little lean with 8oz KLOTZ to 1gal 87 oct gonna go to shop and take a look at the needle settings gonna count the number of turns before closed Thanks .......Mark

Everything but the wire link comes in the package.
On the servo end be carefull to keep enough clearance to operate without interferance. Mine is tight but works great.
