Is it an all in one pipe or a seperate header and pipe?,some of the all in ones can be good but some are too long. The wrap to centre header with seperate pipe cannot be tuned to optimum performance as they are way too long. You'd be best with a 90% or 100,105% header depending on where you want the pipe to fit. Then id go for a 2" band pipe either ali or stainless steel but make sure the header is stainless so it cant warp. How about a pic of your setup?.

Hi its not a bad pipe for a stock motor but its too long for a modded one, best bet is get a 105% header that will put the pipe about the same place at the transom.I use a 2" band ali pipe for my full mod runs great in my hydro. Not sure what pipes are available over there to you guys but ive heard this china quiet pipe gives good performance while been quiet too.Its copied from a european design in fact the designer is a member and he recomended it to someone so it must be ok.By the way that turn fin looks evil ouch [X(].

I have tried several of the band pipes as well as the BH Hansen pipes as well as a couple of the Jeroen pipes. If power is what your looking for I would go with a QD Hot Pipe. The others mentioned are fine pipes - look nice and make good power but the QD has performed the best for me.

Since heat is not an issue, I would look into a steel 2" band pipe. (QD, NFS, or other good ones).

Ha ha .. I would not call myself a designer , I did rebuilds on QD's to meet the Naviga sound restrictions.
For the chinese-manufacturer ..... I gave them the CAD-drawing's ,
so they could add a decent muffler on their SS-QDclone.
Slide this ebay-pipe on a CCracing SS-7/8 header/No-Leak flange combo and you will be happy.

For an Omen engine in a mono I personally would go with a zero band pipe set at about 29 - 30.5cm. If that is the hull you are running it on I'd use a stainless header with about 100 - 105 degree bend. The omen full mods like to rev, a band in the pipe will suit a torquey engine more which is fine for a big heavy mono or thunderboat.

Best bet is to ask someone that runs one, there are plenty of Aussies on this forum that run Omen engines. I'm sure they'll chime is soon enough.

These 'clones' should have been marketed as HS-powerpipe , but are now nameless on the market.
In Mart's and my answers the ebay-link is there (BLUE)
You can also order the flange and 105* SS-header at that same eBay-shop.
You can also call George P from Hobby-depot in Aus. when he has them as stock items.
