WHH XP-2 or a stinger for a mono hull
I am ordering a Expresscraft Osprey and will be putting in a clutched mild-mod Homelite 25cc engine. Years ago I bought a XP-2 inline drive system. In going through the pages it seems alot of people are using stinger style outdrives. Two things concern me with the XP-2 on this particular boat. 1 - The Osprey has a kinda deck on the back and am concerned the drive won't fit due to its size. 2 - It seems the stinger is a bit easier to adjust. This will be mostly a fun boat so I am not racing. I used to race bomber class cars at the local short track and don't want to get into racing again... Would the RD-1 from WHH be a better choice?

The Osprey on the Expresscraft site http://www.expresscraft.com/osprey.htm has an inline rudder system and it seems to fit.If you already have it ,use it.Why spend more money. The Osprey is a big boat and not a racer.

xp-2 inline would be considered a sport type drive system. The stinger type is more competition oriented and has much better handling manners with really high HP engines and high speeds.
