It is a weedy from what I can see. It would be the same. 1 kw at 8500rpm? My home modified weedy is producing way more RPM then 10,000 and cost me half that. And I also tried my cowl cut down very similar to the one pictured, it snapped off after 30 sec and when it did run it vibrated to the point the engine was mis-firing. Waste of money IMHO. Get a weedy and buy a $20 cooling jacket, then start selling them on ebay as a "marine engine"
Cheers, Chris

May be an option for someone on a budget but if your budget is really that tight I would consider holding off a little while and buying something with more power. If your building something scale and slow (cruiser or similar) it may be ok.

I just wonder some times how good the cylinder is sometimes in these budget models. You only have to have issues with one thing that you cannot get parts for any your going to have to buy another - by that stage you would have been ahead buying a proven motor like a Zen.
