Try a sprint cat or a stryker f41 cat, either of these hulls will run into the high 70's to low 80's with the right motor and setup....

I think the Zenoah "cat" record is around 77, and it was definitely a full mod SAW motor, not just a M5, and a light weight purpose built hull. Wally (Tahoe) would know for sure as he went for it this past spring (with a 36" cat) and just missed on the back-up pass. His estimate of 60 sounds pretty good and you would have to know how to set it up perfect to even get there.

I have a 41 falcon cat and have the M5 as well and have done a lot of testing, running the wtc pipe. have used a lot of different props and the best to date is 6717, with a best 51.9gps running the AV fuel and adjusting the strut up and down, to get the best speed, not race set up. I will be putting the 105* header just to see what the difference will be. I am sure I will pick up maybe 2-3 mph. jm2cents.

Good Luck;

what all have you done to your engine, mike? i finally bought a 1" band pipe for mine. probably going to order up the M5 kit. 55 is ripping for this boat. i'd guess mine about 35 and its pretty decent. no hook in my hull, so i guess i got lucky there.

I love how Slider46 says that an M5 engine will do high 70's to low 80's. Sure running high 70's, low 80's it's EASY! [:@] sure.......

Kph or Mph? 70 - 80 Kph is easy, remember to swap the units on your GPS to the right one.
