Default Bonzi bzx2 mod

Anyone have this Bonzi bzx2 engine modification done to their Zenoah g260? The claimed horsepower 5.5, I plan on putting it in on my am avenger. Just wonder what your thoughts were on it and if its worth doing the mod

I can vouch for Craigs Cyclone with the BZx2. It's still getting broke in and the carb is still a bit rich so it's still got more mph in her.

well, i am running 50.7mph on a stock 260 on the first day out to the lake with a Falcon 41. I use to have the avenger, the Falcon and the Avenger are similar. ( the avenger is a little bigger and possibly a little heavier). I am running a 105 header, 2 inch hanson pipe, 257 modded carb. I figure either go full stock or full modded.

just my .02 cents based on other post regarding Bonzi engines. You would be better off with one of Tony's M5 modded engines from Warehouse Hobbies. Price and service can't be beat.

What kind of mph do you think you'll achieve once broken in ? I'm just debating if I should do this mod now or wait. My avenger is doing 45 mph stock with a 6717/3 blade prop. I've also looked at quickdraw 25 but I already have a new 260 zen so I want to send this one out to have it modded. What about cc racing?
