Howdy Fellow Boaters,
Our RC Boat Club in Camarillo, CA has been busy the past 2 months. We got rid of our 30-year-old decayed Drivers' Stand and began construction on a new one made of commercial- grade steel and composite siding that is impervious to insects, rotting and weather. Check out the videos below !!

We've put in some long hours over many weekends to make this happen. However, some of the projected costs of materials and labor went WAY over our budget and available funds , but we still need to purchase more materials and finish the building.

Awesome work with the video clips (and efforts going on both in front and behind camera). Really cool clips.

You guys do not mess around (both with demolition or rebuild). Looks a great location.

Hey thanks, guys !! Yeah, a well-timed video takes a bit more time to put together than your average you-tube clip, but they stand out more. These were a combination of multiple formats (DV cam, 14MP DSLR and a time-lapse cam) and the wonders of Mac (iMovie, Final Cut Pro and Photoshop.) I have not yet tried the other time-lapse software that is available. I will eventually make shorter versions, but we wanted to really show the effort we've put into the building. The Teardown was messy but kinda fun, too. We over-filled that huge dumpster !! [sm=tongue_smile.gif]

Hey all ...the results are IN !!

I figured I'd spice up the video a bit so that no matter who won or even entered, you might enjoy it ! (Since we weren't able to time the drawing with a scheduled RC Boat race, we opted for doing the drawing on video and I happened to be shooting the AVP Pro Volleyball final, so that was the venue.)
