Your only options then are to either draw your own plans or find a hull and modify it,or use the free plans i and others have used to build a deep vee and maybe modify them to get what your looking for.I bought a hull on ebay a while back im going to moddify to build a cruiser style hull from ,shes not as big as the size you mentioned as shes only 54" but i find her plenty big for my purpose. The hull is based on the spearfish hulls from the 60s i was told. This one is way too heavy so i might use it as a plug and make another from it after ive cut it a little lower and removed the funny lump off the transom which i dont like at all.

....or just keep it at 72" and have no confusion. Trust me, 72" is a huge boat.

If you still want to make it wider, or increase the beam, just add an even amount to each side of each bulkhead. Taller add some height to the bulkheads the same way. It does however depend where you think you need more height.

Personally i wouldnt use those 72" mono plans, from the ones ive seen and talking to those who have built it the vee is too deep and the hull runs very wet.Id prefer to use the 48" ones scaled up if it were me.As regards over hang you mean diving platform right? if so just add that later .

hi i thought i would change the boats shape by making it wider and giving it a flatter bottom which steepens at front. so basicaly a rear with a smmaller dead rise angle which increases at the front.

Then thoes plans are no good to you. Know a good cad program? I'm a technology teacher and we just purchased Solid Works. It's a very easy and fun cad program that allows you do do practically anything. If interested you could PM me or call (forgot to look where you're from). My class is always looking for a new project with that new software we have. Perhaps given your dimensions we could print out a full size plan for you on my plotter and mail them to you? Just thinking out loud.

Here is a link to my build using the 72in plans, I reduced them to 54in and added 35mm to the width. have a read and a think and decide from there. If I were to do it again at 72 in, I would add 50mm each side of the centre line and reduce the V angle. I would sugest, print the plans, cut them from cardbord and tape it together and then chop and shape. Hope this helps.

That radio is an AM radio, not really the best choice for a gas boat with an ignition, they are prone to interference. I would go for at least an FM system and with prices as they are then a 2,4 GHz is probably your best option. The [link=http://2.4gigahertz.com/systems/futk2020.html]Futaba 3PM 2,4[/link] is a good choice. No point spending all that money on a boat and then loosing it due to a cheap radio.

Just a thought, importing that to the EU you might well get hit with import taxes so be prepared to find more cash before you see the stuff in your hands.......

Im sure theres a guy who supplies gas boats and gear in Malta ?,i seem to remember speaking to a guy from there but his name escapes me as it was a while ago now.W3bby is right go with fm or futabba fasst .As regards buying from other countrys your best bet if you cant get things locally is to go with items from hong kong as you wont get stung by import taxes usually

Its hard to say if they will fit unless we know what the actual size of the boat is,your best bet is to have a look at some twin builds on the site and find out some info and go from there. That said if your going with a 72" hull id asume yes they would fit pretty easy. There are plenty of smaller boats running twins though so you can go smaller if you want.Remember smaller would be easier to power and also faster not to mention less expensive .I noticed you linked air cooled motors so you would have to run an open top hull which might not be the best idea in salt water, lots of maintenance to keep that salt out.The spray itself would get everywhere, not good so you would need to spray everything down well after each use.If it were me id go with water cooled motors so you can run a canopy. My advice honestly would be to build a 56" hull, single motor so more affordable and it will handle the sea just fine.
