Help pick my new boat
I've been looking at posts for the last few weeks trying to decide which boat to buy. Would either like a cat or a hydro. I am a member of 2 local IMPBA sanctioned ponds but we dont have races, more like "fun days". I have a nitro Miss Vegas and a Venom King of Shaves gasser. I want something faster... If you guys could take a look and maybe give me some recommendations on these or other boats that would be great!
Heres what Ive been looking at so far

I race in NAMBA District 19, home of Insane boats. I've seen too many of the Gen III cats whooping on all comers to recommend anything else. I'd snag the Gen III for sure!!

It would be the Avenger or Avenger Pro for me. However I'd buy it RTR from CC Racing engines. Better hull and I like how the do the stuffing tube. Much better idea then glassing it in.

Out of the hulls you have listed I would suggest the Insane Gen III. Another two to look at are the Aeromarine Sprincat and the AC R-42. Any of those 3 are top runners.

RE: Help pick my new boat
Here is one to consider.
This cat is new . Never ran.
Ready to run just add gas and oil!
Built by Top Secret Boats with only top of the line parts. You will not be disappointed!!!!
The cat Measures 48 inches on the top and 43 inches on the bottom. Gel coat is yellow on top and white on bottom.
Powered by RCMK S254 High Performance Gas Engine (rated about 5 HP) 25CC
Comes with JR racing XR3 FM Radio.
Prop is a 6717 / 2 blade and has batteries but may need to be charged before running.
