4from 9 leave's 5... 5 lives left Tony in the Jordo cat m8..

I went from about 81kph a few weeks ago to over 90 today.. Been playing around with a few props that I have and the fastest is the original prop from my Rio. my $110 voodoo prop does 81kph this Rio prop much better,, (makes up for the fugi engine LOL) Also been tweaking the strut height too, amazing what a mill does here and there.
Can get more speed I reckon but will need to add some weight to the front.. Bloody thing turning into a plane now..

And Thanks Matt she flew alright best thing was I had fun today.

Nice job Henry,by the way if you run with the cowl it might help with the down force to keep her on the water.That said it was pretty choppy,looked great mate well done.

Hi WakeBoardnBash no m8.. its a Jordo Cat made here in Australia, there made solid and boy they fly..

And thanks Mart but I can't run with the cowl on cause the Motor wants to suck so much air in, I loose about 10kph with the cowl on, Pity it does that cause I would prefer I had the cowl on so as to make it look more like a Cat... No matter but..

Living on the edge I like it! I'd be interested in a picture of your hardware setup if you have one.

Cant you just cut some holes in the cowl windscreen and install some mesh that would let the air in just be sure to let it out at the back too.Usually 3 times out what goes in as regards holes .

Pic of my hardware PEERPSI not much to it just the basic setup. ????? And Mart I took out the windows I had in the Cowl so have heaps of air going in and Cut the cowl at the back for my pipe, But still I need to run it without the cowl, only other thing I can do is to make a big hole around where the Carb is and see if that will help.. will see.....

Henry..

Looking at that pic Henry id say you have too much air going in and nowhere for it to escape fast enough which will act like an air brake when it gets to the transom if you get me? so maybe cut some windows in the transom to let it escape quicker ?.Usually you need 3 times air out as in they say.

That was one great video, injoyed every second. And most of all, the OH ****. We all can appreciate that because if you run boats long enough there will be plenty. Keeps our hobby exciting and on the edge.
Thanks for shareing;

mmmmmm, Mart, Kids and Boats don't mix, Rc boats are for us big swearing blokes, kids should not be near them because they just spoil our fun..

And m8 will work on the air bit this week and see what I can up with,, Also taking the Rockett down the lake on Wednesday, haven't given her a run for a while, been reading the thread about the turn fin and all.. will get some footage to see what my rockett will do.. be Interesting to see what it does..

Take care m8,,, Nice chatting hey... Henry..
